My name is Tarun Thomas Markose. I am 17. I was born in the
cultural center of Kerala, Kottayam, India on the 16th of November,
1987. I spent about 3 years there and then came to Oman. I did my
schooling here from the 1st Grade to the 4th and then went back to
India, to study in a hostel. Finding life both boring and hard in
India I came back to my parents in Oman. Now I am studying in the 10th
grade. I like swimming, listening to music, cycling, Badminton,
reading, web designing and working on the computer.
My family consists of my parents, sister, brother and myself. I am
the eldest among the three children. My brother, Praveen is 10 years
old and in the 4th Grade. He is quite a guy. My sister, Priyanka is 7
years old and in the 2nd Grade. God has been generous enough to bless
me with 2 superb siblings.
My father, Dr. Markose Thomas is a surgeon working in a hospital in
the locality. He is 42 and doing well. He is kind, loving and
affectionate. In other words, he is one great Pop !
My mom, like all other moms is great, loving and affectionate. Her
name is Mini Markose. She is in her early thirties.
Lastly, my friends Jacob, Juvin, Jayer, Davis, Ashish, Akshay,
Bilal, Hisham, and Tanmay, Rahul, Hasnain, Siddhart etc etc etc … and
( many more … no space for all of em’) are the coolest people I have
ever met. Life would have been a bore without them. They add all the
spice needed to school life.
You would say ‘ School’s so boring! ‘. Well, that would not have
been the sentiment if you were studying in the same school as mine.
The school I am talking about is, ISAG, for Indian School Al Ghubra.
It ranks the best In Oman ! Even though it is about 90 kilometers from
my home, it is worth the cost and time.
Studying in the 10th grade makes school life more interesting.
Friends play a big role in making it so. Our main interests are
movies, music and IT related subjects. Life is just great here!
